Open Water Therapy
Since starting my open water swimming career... you know, last September, I’ve fallen in love.
There physical benefits, of course, are amazing but what I didn’t expect were the mental benefits.
Being in the ocean, saturated in 46 degree water does something for my brain that’s almost indescribable.
It helps me ground.
When you’re in that water nothing else matters but timing your breath and perfecting your stroke. Everything else just falls away.
Open water therapy. It’s a lifestyle. And it’s one I plan on continuing forever.
